ABOUT RENEE

With a love for words, film and human behavior,
I found my way into storytelling.

I create and direct visual stories across beauty, fashion, lifestyle, music and film. From the first idea to the final frame, I love shaping the world
of a story and bringing it to life on set.

My background in both marketing and film allows me to approach every project from a creative and visual perspective, always looking for the idea, image or emotion that makes
a story stay with you.

Alongside directing, I write poetry and short stories and am the published author of She is a Poem and Endlessly Rising.

PHILOSOPHY

I approach storytelling as an experience.

I am drawn to the details that make people feel real: a look that lingers, a gesture that says more than words, a moment of silence, the atmosphere of a place.

Whether I am creating a beauty campaign, a music video, or a narrative film, I want to take the viewer somewhere. To make them feel something, even if they cannot quite put their finger on what it is.

As a woman working in the visual industry, I also care deeply about creating images of women that feel honest and human. Beauty does not have to mean perfection.
